Recent University of Nebraska Omaha grad Brendan Brown has been acting for years. He got his start in the church much like the iconic and late Whitney Houston. During the morning and daytime, he can be found helping out fellow mavericks in the Mavigation station in the Epply administration building. Brendan has recently been casted to play Grady in the upcoming production of the color purple at the Omaha community playhouse near the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He is not a stranger they’re at all. He has been with the Omaha community playhouse since 2012 when he was a freshman at UNO and decided to audition for hairspray. He said it was on a whim and did not think he would get the part, but he did. He says acting is something that he has always enjoyed and something that comes natural to him. He said his hope for the near future is to start creating his own content much like Issa Rae.
